Program Notes: REMNANTS explores the residual influence of childhood experiences on our adult lives. In many ways, it’s directly about the process we’re aiming to create through this residency. All the professionals in our program were once students who had formative moments that unlocked their potential. Our goal is to connect the Immersive Summer Intensive students with professional artists who embody the best qualities of this art form, and in doing so we hope this experience leads to an even greater future for everyone who was part of this process.
