CRM IS ONE OF A KIND
The Choreographic Residency of Marin celebrates the rare, often unseen moments when professional artists have a breakthrough that transforms their creative process. While these moments are impossible to predict we know there are four key ingredients:

Every professional dancer and choreographer in the CRM is personally invited to share in this experience because they are known to embody each of these qualities. They are also selected based on their collaborative nature in the studio and their eagerness inspire the next generation.
Inspiring Mentors
In addition to their creative work in the studio, the professional artists of the CRM also serve as educators and mentors supporting the students of the Immersive Summer Intensive. This unique blend allows the ISI students to observe quality professional practices and deepen their understanding of the process directly with the artists inspiring them.

The Choreographic Residency of Marin culminates a live performance event, featuring world premiere dances and a special Q&A with the artists. The event will also feature an original work created on the Immersive Summer Intensive students. We look forward to a great celebration with you all this summer.
